Are you a world language teacher in a school in the Rhode Island area? Become a member of RIFLA! Joining RIFLA is an investment in your growth and success as a world language teacher.

Here is what a RIFLA (Rhode Island for Languages Association) membership offers to world language educators like you:

Membership is for the school year (October-September) and may be renewed below. Memberships can be renewed for one, two or three years.

World language departments that wish to pay for membership for multiple members should download this form.

EMERITUS/EMERITA - Lifetime Membership - Free Subscription period: Unlimited Upon retirement from their teaching posts, members of the Association in good standing may be nominated by the Board of Directors to the status of “Member Emeritus.” Such members will enjoy all of the privileges of members, but they will not be required to pay dues. Emeritus Application required.

REGULAR - Membership for 1 year - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: September 1st Automatic renewal (recurring payments)

REGULAR - Membership for 2 years - $45.00 (USD) Subscription period: 2 years, on: September 1st No automatically recurring payments

REGULAR - Membership for 3 years - $60.00 (USD) Subscription period: 3 years, on: September 1st No automatically recurring payments

STUDENT - Membership for 1 year - $10.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: September 1st No automatically recurring payments For pre-service teachers, e.g. full-time students and Americorps VISTA members, pursuing certification in world language, bilingual/dual language education
