Seal of Biliteracy

RIDE's Office of College and Career Readiness, in conjunction with the Office of Instruction, Assessment, and Curriculum, and the Office of Student, Community and Academic Supports, recently released the newest guidance for the Rhode Island Seal of Biliteracy. These updates, developed with valuable input from an educator working group, include changes to qualifying assessments and introduce opportunities for students to earn college credit through their Seal achievement, as provided by R.I.G.L. ยง 16-22-2-3 at URI, RIC, and CCRI.

RIDE stands ready to assist schools with successful or strengthened implementation of this initiative.
