• Reciprocity for educators certified in another state
• Through the Credential Review Pathway

Rhode Island offers the following certificates for world language and dual language educators:

• All Grades World Language Certificate (PK-12) 
• Early Childhood Bilingual and Dual Language Education Certificate (PK-2) (Must also hold Early Childhood Education Certificate)
• Elementary Bilingual and Dual Language Education Certificate (1-6) (Must hold Elementary Education Certificate)
• Middle Grades Bilingual and Dual Language Education Certificate (5-8) (Must hold Middle Grades Content Area Certificate)
• Secondary Bilingual and Dual Language Education Certificate (7-12) (Must hold Secondary Grades Content Area Certificate in Agriculture, Biology, Business Education, Chemistry, English, General Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Social Studies)
